We have four rooms on the first and second floor of a manor house (18th century) set in a wooded park with flower beds. Within the grounds are three small garden railways (gauge 3 1/2”, 7 1/4” and 60 cm).
La chambre Champêtre : twin beds (90x190 cm), large private bathroom with shower and toilet. Second floor.
La chambre Romantique : double bed (160x200xcm), private bathroom with bath and toilet. Second floor.
La chambre Renaissance : large room some 30m2, double bed (160x200xcm), private bathroom with shower and toilet.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Breakfast is served in the dining room between 9 and 10. Home made jams, organic yoghurts and fruits from the garden according to the season. We offer leaf teas only. Our house is non smoking. In the Buffet de la Gare upstairs, you'll find common equipment with refrigerator, microwave, kettle, tables and chairs. And board games, books and comics. Top

THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT
L’Ormet Bed and Breakfast is an ideal starting point for walks and hikes in the contryside (you can plan your route from maps available at L’Ormet). The village of Valignat with its small 11th century church and a surprising agricultural museum is only 15 minutes away on foot as is the village of Veauce with its castle from the middle ages, its beautiful little roman church in the occitan style and the surrounding forest. The ancient village of Charroux with its picturesque cobbled streets is 8 km away (and a very nice restaurant !)The Gorges of the Sioule river start just outside Ebreuil 10 km away. The chain of volcanoes including the Puy-de-Dôme are less than an hour by car. Top

Easy access by A 71 motorway (10 minutes from the exit Vichy, Ebreuil. Access by A 71 motorway (10 minutes) Leave A71 at Junction to Vichy (A719), follow signs to Ebreuil then Vicq. Straight on towards Bellenaves then at the top of the hill turn left on the rd 183. L'Ormet is 1, 500 m on the right. Access from Gannat : Follow signs to Ebreuil, then as above. Access from St Pourçain : Follow signs to Chantelle, then Bellenaves then Ebreuil via St Bonnet de Tizon. Over the level crossing and (Be carrefull not to drive inside the village of Valignat) at the very top of the hill turn right on rd 183. L'Ormet is 1, 500 m on the right.
