THE ROOMS Suite and apartments Orange Suite Entirely renovated in 2010, offers all necessary comforts (large flat screen tv, wireless internet, air conditioning, safe, coffee maker, kettle, hairdryer, radio, cd and mp3 player). Located on the ground floor of the villa with windows looking south and east, it has its own peaceful terrace overlooking the garden. The 38m² suite includes a bedroom with living area, a spacious bathroom with bath and shower, and a separate toilet. The teak furniture gives it a hint of the exotic. It contains a double bed (160 x 200), and a comfortable sofa-bed, so it’s ideal for two people, but can also sleep up to four (see conditions). It is typically rented by the week during the high season and for a minimum of 2 nights for the rest of the year. Cherry Studio Also renovated in 2010, and about the same size as the suite it also has all the necessary comforts such as a large flat screen tv, wireless internet, air conditioning, safe, coffee maker, kettle, hairdryer, radio, cd and dvd player. It consists of a large bedroom with living area facing south, a fully equipped kitchen (washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, oven, fridge...) and a modern shower room. It is located on the ground floor of the villa and has its own large covered terrace, especially nice in the summer to shelter from the scorching sun. It is equipped with a double bed (160 x 190) and a comfortable sofa that can serve as a bed for 2 people. It is rented for stays of at least one week. Hazelnut Apartment More spacious than the studio and the suite, its surface is about 45m ². It is on the 1st floor of the house while also being accessible directly from the raised garden behind the house via its own terrace. It consists of a south-facing bedroom, a large living room facing south and east with exposed beams and a fireplace, a large fully equipped kitchen (washing machine, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, oven, microwave, etc...) overlooking the terrace, a shower room, and a separate toilet.Top

GENERAL INFORMATION The Peyrelong villa has 3 differents apartments and can welcome up to 16 persons. All rooms are strictly non-smoking inside. Animals are unfortunatly not allowed. Arrivals are generally between 15h and 19h every Saturday for weekly rental. For others, please contact us. Departures are at 11am at the latest. A reservation deposit of 30% is required in advance, with the balance paid on arrival. For weekly rentals a damage deposit of 300€ is required upon arrival, and returned upon departure if all is ok. Unlimited internet access. Orange suite minimum rental 2 nights and 3 during the high period. Breakfast included. Additional person : 20€ / night / person for the third and fourth person; During the middle and high period possibility to choose between the option breakfast included or access to the pool house and the kitchen to make your own breakfast and other meals. In this option the third and the fourth person will pay only 10€/night instea of 20€ (in option bed and breakfast). Apartment and studio minimum rental one week. No breakfast. CULTURAL AND SPORTS ACTIVITIES In summer especially, the regional council organizes countless numbers of high quality shows, concerts and other events, mostly free of charge, and there are numerous firework displays up and down the coast, including the International Fireworks Festival in Cannes. Lovers of old villages and stone buildings won’t be disappointed. The closest one to us is the old medieval village of Cagnes, which has kept its charm and character. You’ll find some nice little restaurants there or just stroll to explore the narrow streets and old houses, some dating back to the thirteenth century. The beautiful village of Saint Paul de Vence is better known and art lovers can either buy works of art from the many art galleries or just contemplate some beautiful works in the foundation Maght, a modern art museum located nearby. It would take too long to enumerate all the small villages that deserve a visit, but some of the better known ones include the exquisite village of Eze, perched on its eagle’s nest overlooking the wonderful bay of Villefranche, the villages of Peille and Peillon above Nice, Mougins and Gourdon near Cannes and Grasse, or Tourette sur Loup. Sports lovers will find plenty of activities to do also, from numerous water sports, walks along the coast or in the mountain, and cycling. For revelers, the cities of Nice, Antibes and Cannes are only a few minutes by car and each has its own attraction. Nice is the 5th largest city in France and if you’re feeling fit you can visit the center by bike from the Villa. The old town is a must for tourists and residents, and you’ll find hundreds of restaurants and bars which makes it extremely lively especially in summer. Antibes has also a very picturesque old town, but is best known for its huge marina which is the largest in France. As for Cannes, it would be hard not to have heard of it thanks to its international film festival. The old town is small but nice, it also abounds with restaurants and bars and a beautiful promenade with its famous hotels.Top

CLIMATE & WEATHER In this region it is possible to eat every day of the year for lunch time, except of course when it rains. It doesn't rain very often but when it rains it rains a lot and very strongly. We have 2 periods when it might rains (november december and march April) For the rest of the time it is possible not to have any rain for severals months. It is quite rare to have a temperature below 10° during the day and below 0 during the night in winter. From may to october it is usually possible to take a bath in a swimming pool which is not eated artificially but of course it depend of each person and the temperature of the day.Top

MAP & DIRECTIONS To access the villa:- Drive into the center of Cagnes sur Mer (past the central Place Charles de Gaulle), then follow signs for the medieval old town- At one point the road narrows to a single lane between buildings, continue through the narrowing and shortly after that (about 80m), you’ll come to a fork in the road- Take the right-hand road that slopes down slightly and is sign-posted Val de Cagnes camping (this is the chemin des Salles)- From that point use your mileometer to travel the 1. 8 km to n° 93 chemin des Salles on the left-hand side, where you’ll see a row of 5 identical beige mail-boxes, a black gate (always open) and the start of a dirt-road- Take the dirt-road and drive about 250 m - it winds left then right, after which the villa is the first house on your rightVilla Peire Long93 chemin des Salles06800 Cagnes Sur MerFrance
