Welcome to La Retrouvade!
At the foot of the scenic road of the Mount Mézenc, near the Mount Gerbier de Jonc and the Loire river sources, we welcome you at our fully refurbished traditionnal farm with volcanic stones and slate on the roof.
From our terrace, the view over the Ardèche "sucs" is just astonishing (over 25kms of view, in the Geopark of Monts d'Ardèche) and offers a striking contrast with neighboring uplands of the Haute Loire. The area, and wide open spaces of unspoilt nature offers us many opportunities to practice outdoor sports, hikes, bike rides or mountain biking, horse riding... Etc. In winter, the proximity of the resort of Estables and "nordic area" of Mont Gerbier and Coux, allow children and adults to enjoy the pleasures of winter and snow, with snowshoe trail, huskies, backcountry skis, skating etc...
Labeled by the "Parc des Monts d'Ardèche" we have at heart to share the architectural and natural treasures of this beautiful country.
In the evening at our table, Fabienne will offer you an original cuisine, a local cuisine revisited following the seasons, leaving a great place to organic production and wild pickings.

THE ROOMS
Guest rooms and Guest table for your stay in Haute Loire and Ardèche - Family gathering, weekends relaxation, outdoor sport and nature holidays...
Welcome into our entirely renovated traditional stone built farm!
Our 4 cosy wooden rooms accommodate 2 to 5 people with ensuite and toilet. Single and double beds are available
to make sure you will totally enjoy the silence and peaceful atmosphere.
To add to the original farm feature, a gipsy caravan is also available for 2 persons.

At la Retrouvade, our menu is an invitation to taste wild plants and to discover local specialities : Fin gras du Mezenc
meat, crique ardéchoise with violine de Borée potatoes, caillettes….
We use mainly vegetables fresh form the garden, fruits and berries gathered around the house and seasonal
products supplied by local farmers.
When leaving, you may buy some of our home-made jams…
Gluten free, milk free, vegan menus available upon demand.
Dinner and picnic basket must be booked ahead. Top
