Michelle welcomes you to her holiday gîtes and bed and breakfast in a renovated farmstead pleasantly situated at 850 m altitude in the Massif de l'Arize, one of the Pyrenees foothills, 12 kms from Foix, in 40 hectares of forest and meadowland.
Its surroundings provide fine panoramas: multi-coloured woods, hamlets scattered on the slopes. On the estate one can enjoy profound peace and quiet, use the pool or, starting from Le Poulsieu, walk one of many hiking trails.
On the property, you'll be able to take advantage of the tranquility, relaxing in the peace and quiet, or taking walks on the numerous footpaths around Poulsieu.
The surrounding forest is full of wildlife; deer come to graze right in front of the houses and in autumn you'll hear the cry of the stag all around
Other activities such as horseriding, fishing and tennis can be enjoyed in the immediate vicinity. Rafting, paragliding, hanggliding and golf can be practiced within 20 kms of Le Poulsieu. In winter there is skiing nearby: Ax bonascre, plateau de Beille et Tour Laffont.
In a radius of 5 to 10 kms you'll find all the shops and services necessary. The town of Foix and its imposing château are just 12 kms away. It's a pleasant town with numerous shops and a weekly farmers' market.
Thanks to its central location, you can easily visit all the major tourist sites of Ariège.  Top

THE ROOMS
The rooms are comfortable and each has a private bathroom with washbasin, shower and toilet. We offer an evening meal by reservation; there is also a kitchen at your disposal where you may prepare your own meals if you wish. You will also have available a clothes washer (for a modest fee), numerous toys and games for children, several terraces and a barbecue.
