Bed & breakfast in a quality English/French owned and operated Chambres d'hôtes (Clévacance rated)in the South of France.
Located in the small scenic town of Coursan we are within easy walking distance of restaurants and commerces and only 7km from Narbonne. We're also only12km from the fine golden sandy beaches of the Mediterranean, 1hr from Spain and 2. 5hrs from Andorra making Maison St Georges an ideal base for touring this beautiful, scenic and historic part of the world. Sights to see in our region include the world famous medieval walled city of Carcassonne, the castles of the Cathares, the famous wine regions of the Corbières, the Minervois and Fitou, the routes of the lakes, the black mountains, the Pyrenees, the Canal du Midi and the wildliife African Reserve at Sigean. Every day offers an opportunity for you to discover something different.
Bed and breakfast:
A one time ‘Maison d'Maitre’ built after the French Revolution and restored conserving the original character of the property in 1998. Two large double rooms with en-suites are available, both with tea & coffee making facilities. Also a family room that sleep up to four, with double bed, adult bunk beds and tea and coffee making facilities.
breakfast is a full continental one: tea/coffee, fruit juice, choice of cereals, bread, croissants, home made conserves, ham, cheese etc.
The Gites (Holiday appartments):
The gites are both open plan (stone barn apartment conversions 1998/1999). Both are fully equipped and adjoin the main house with their own entrance.
The large gite (approx 55m²) is fully furnished, sleeps 4 -5 comfortably. Ithas a kitchen area with table/chairs, large open living area with colour television and two sofa beds. The kitchen has a cuisinette, hotplates, microwave and fridge. Main bedroom has a double bed with two further single beds on a large mezzanine. Bathroom has shower, wc and basin.
The small gite (approx 38m²)sleeps 2 - 4, is fully furnished of open plan with a double bed and two bunks, couch, colour television etc. It has a separate kitchen with table chairs, cuisinette, hot plates, microwave, fridge. Bathroom has shower, wc and basin.
There is also an enclosed front garden with bbq, table and chairs for use by all guests.
