We have a sunny terrace with a superb view and a sunny peaceful communal garden; we are in a beautiful historical area with the Cathar castles, medieval villages, superb landscapes, rivers and swimming lakes, forests walks, markets and vineyards. Our B & B rooms are cleaned daily and have free Wi-Fi - Tea and coffee, glasses - Air-con – Central heating - Hairdryer - Baby equipment.
We have a library with books and games, tourist information and maps.
On the landing you will find a communal honesty fridge / storage.
A spacious comfortable Lounge / dining room with tv. English / French, and fire place.
There is a sun terrace with an open view over the garden, the valley, river and the woods beyond.
You can relax in our peaceful sunny garden with sun loungers, or sit at tables and chairs in the shade of the grape vine, there is also a barbecue and sink.

THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT
20 mins north of Carcassonne the pretty and calm medieval village of Cuxac-Cabardès is nestled in a valley at the foot of the black mountains in Aude the southern most end of the Massif Central, here nature is at is best. It is surrounded by woods and forests, a paradise for walkers, in Cather country with castles, unspoilt medieval villages with ancient churches and abbeys, superb scenery with mountains, gorges, valleys, mountain swimming lakes, and rivers which flow down to meet the Canal du midi, you can visit vineyards, markets, caves, museums, the book village and art galleries at Montolieu, car boot sales (vide greniers) and in summer there are village fetes. This area remains unspoilt and is a good place to relax and unwind. Top

CULTURAL AND SPORTS ACTIVITIES
This area is unspoilt (far from the madding crowd), with some of the largest forest in Europe a walkers and nature lovers paradise. Cather castles” perch high atop steep mountains, a choice of swimming lakes, bike trails, horseback riding, gorges, caves, waterfalls, rivers and meandering streams, picturesque medieval villages with their churches and abbeys, museums, markets (2 of the best are in Mirepoix and Revel) Vineyards and wine tasting. From November to February, there are food festivals foie gras, truffles and wine. In the summer there are village fairs and Sunday car boot sales. There is something for everyone! Top
