You can find us in the south of France between the Medieval City of Carcassonne and Narbonne (beach) in the small village Blomac.
In the former wine chateau, entirely renovated, you will find spacious rooms (family) with their private bathroom.  Top

THE ROOMS
Suite Blanchefort: Now you get the real castle feeling on entering this spacious suite of 38sqm with its bathroom located in one of the towers. As a matter of course you will sleep on very luxury box springs (180 x 200) and is your bathroom equipped with all comfort. The suite is situated on the first floor and has a view of the cour (court). Suite Dame Carcas:Your spacious suite of 28sqm is equipped with luxury box springs (160 x 200). Another door admits a separate room of 11sqm, which sleeps 2. You can find your way to the enormous terrace with a magnificent view of the castle's park. In the distance the hills of the Corbieres rise into view. Your bathroom is equipped with all confort. Suite Magdelena:Your spacious suite of 34sqm on the 2nd floor is equipped with luxury box springs (180 x 200) with a view of the village, cour (court) and in the distance des Montagnes noires. Here too you feel you really are in a castle as the bathroom equipped with every comfort is situated in the tower. Suite Alaric: Your spacious suite (32sqm) is situated on the 2nd floor. It is equipped with deluxe box springs (180 x 200). Another door admits a separate room of 11sqm, which sleeps 2. Your bathroom is equipped with every comfort. From your room you have a lovely view of the park. Suite Trassanel:Enter your very spacious and romantic suite of 30m2 by a little portal. As a matter of course you will sleep on very luxury box springs (180 x 200) and is your bathroom equipped with all comfort. THE TABLE
Dinner at the Chateau, in a relaxed atmosphere with your family.
Often on our beautiful veranda overlooking the park or in our beautiful dining room with us and other guests (international).
Jacqueline prepares four times a week a delicious meal, four courses with fresh products, a mixture of French and international dishes.
Of course, accompanied with wines from the region.
We love to welcome you on Monday, Wednesday, Friday or Saturday (only by reservation at least 1 day in advance).
In high season, we serve often a barbecue on Saturday. Top

Fred and Jacqueline, the Dutch owners, love to welcome you to Chateau de Blomac, charm, comfort and friendliness! Open all year. The chateau is situated between Carcassonne (the Medieval City) and Narbonne (beach).

GENERAL INFORMATION
The construction of the present Chateau de Blomac started in 1789 and has been lived in and renovated by various families. Wine is still being made. One of the outbuildings is converted into a holiday home (gite) with the sturdy character of this wine area. We do have a large (7x13) swimmingpool for all our guests. The estate is ideal for B&B, fairylike wedding or anniversary parties. Larger parties could be received for art- and antique arrangements, cooking courses and pastry-workshops. Imagine your own family or theme gatherings and we will make it true in this inspiring setting. And of course we can't ignore it: exciting your taste buds with exquisite wines.
Price is per night including breakfast.
Having dinner with us and other guests is possible on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
Minimum stay of 3 nights in July and August.
Extra bed in the same suite € 35,- pppn.
Child bed on the same room € 25,- per booking.
We ask you kindly to arrive after 16 hours on the day of arrival and to leave your room no later than 11 hours on the day of your departure.
Unfortunately smoking (inside the castle) and pets are not allowed.
When booking we ask you a deposit of 50%, after receiving your reservation is definitive. The other 50% at latest two weeks before arrival. A cancellation insurance must be arranged by yourself.
We do not accept credit card or bank card. Top

OUR AREAS OF INTEREST
In 2009 we realized our dream, after staying more than 50 years in the Netherlands, to move to the south of France to live and work. After a major renovation we could, Fred (working in the ict) and Jacqueline (more than 30 years working as a nurse) open our doors for the first guests. Our desire is that you feel at home and having a lovely time together.

Cleaning of the rooms every day; towels for by the swimming pool can be rent.
