Welcome to the heart of Provence. Between the roads of Alpilles, Lubéron, country of Aix-en-Provence and Comtat Venaissin, in the North of Bouches du Rhône the village of Charleval nests between Durance and hills. In the plain in the North of the village, the Mas of the Caper shrub, old peasant building of the 19eS, in the soft atmosphere, renovated according to the rule book offers spacious 3 comfortable rooms, a park and a natural pond of swimming. The owners always have great pleasure to be invited in a discovery of the cooking of their childhood spent in Marseille in the 50s. Their table d'hôte offers vegetables and organic seasonal fruits of the producer, cheeses of the friendly goatherd, wines of the cellar, the tomatoes of the kitchen garden in August, cherries of the orchard in May and jams house. From the mas, our hosts can easily realize hikes (unless quarter of an hour the flora and fauna of the edges of Durance, surrounding hills and the beautiful works of engineering of the canals of the chain of Costes), participate in big music or drama festivals of the summer (Festival of Drama d’Avignon, Festival of Opera d’Aix-en-Provence, Festival international of piano de La Roque d’ Anthéron), to discover the beauty of the Cistercian abbeys of Silvacane, Sénanque, the cultural wealth of the cities of Aix-en-Provence, Avignon, Arles, of Salon de Provence, or the remarkable architecture of the surrounding villages (Les Baux de Provence, Saint Rémy de Provence, Gordes, Ansouis, Oppède le Vieux)An ideal stopping place during a journey in Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur.
