In the heart of Périgord Pourpre, just a few km from Bergerac and from the castle of Monbazillac come and relax in a completely renovated peaceful former wine farm, surrounded by vineyards.
Four large and comfortable rooms with great character, await you overlooking magnificent views of the surrounding countryside.
The village of Saussignac, famous for its wine, is located in the Dordogne, where the Gironde and Lot-et-Garonne departments meet.
The old days’ genuineness and charm of the estate have been preserved in its restoration.
A beautiful reception hall was entirely redone to welcome you for breakfast and dinner; it interconnects with a sitting room where you can either relax or prepare your next day activities, since leaflets, maps and tourist information on the region are available there, but also a tv set, decks of cards and board games, books and magazines.
There is a salted water 10 x 5 metres swimming pool which is in perfect harmony with the surrounding landscape.

THE ROOMS
We can now offer 3 magnificent guest rooms fitted out in a former ancient barn and a fourth one in the main house. Each is fully equipped with a bathroom and a separate wc.
Millepertuis : A large bright room, in yellow tones, with beautiful visible beams; it is fitted with a 1. 80 x 2. 00 metres double bed or two 0. 90 x 2. 00 metres single beds, a bathroom with large, open walk-in shower, a double washbasin, a hair dryer and separate wc.
Lavande : A large rustic-style room, in blue-grey tones, looking out on the swimming pool. This room is fitted with a 1. 60 x 2. 00 metres double bed, a bathroom with large, open walk-in shower, a double washbasin, a hair dryer and separate wc.
Campanule : This fresh-looking large room in blue and white tones, with beautiful visible beams and stone walls, is fitted with a 1. 80 x 2. 00 metres double bed or two 0. 90 x 2. 00 metres single beds, a bathroom with large, open walk-in shower, a double washbasin, a hair dryer and separate wc.

THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT
The Domaine de Rudel stands in the middle of vineyards, 15 km West of Bergerac, 10 km from Monbazillac and Ste Foy la Grande.
On leaving the village you will discover the estate, framed on both sides by vineyards, extending over 4. 5 hectares of meadows and woods. All the buildings were built in 1850 and the estate was a wine farm until 1980. Top

What is there to discover and what can you do during your stay in Domaine de Rudel ?
There are numerous sports and cultural activities available nearby.
We are located 5 km from the Castle of Vigiers and its magnificent golf course and 5 km from a horse-riding school. A number of hiking trails start in Saussignac and there are numerous small roads perfect for cycling. Within ten kilometres, you can rent a kayak, thus discovering the region from another point of view while canoeing on the Dordogne river.
