Five guest rooms of great charm are set aside for you. Come and discover the Marquis’s Room, the Blue Room, the Yellow Room, the Tulip Room and the Herbalist’s Suite.
At your disposal are the library with its 18th-century wood panelling and its fireplace, the drawing room, the dining room decorated in trompe l’œil style, places you will adore to stay in.
An annexe to the château provides facilities for your workshops, seminars or receptions. A peaceful spot, surrounded by nature but near to access routes.
The gardens
The château de Christin is set in the heart of the Languedoc countryside, the “Garrigue”, close to the Mediterranean beaches and the foothills of the Cévennes range.
Recharge your batteries in a haven of peace, greenery and water which is reminiscent of Tuscany.
You will discover:
The park and its various delights: French gardens, pedestrian avenues, ponds, fountains, the heady scent of ancient rosebushes and honeysuckle.
The tranquillity of the shade of the century-old plane trees which line the brook, in whose shelter the cicadas sing.
The medicinal garden will also charm you with its aromatic and medicinal plants and other subtle scents.

Week-end oenologie
Week-end oenologie en chambres d’hôtes de charme
au Château de Christin à Junas dans le Gard
1er jour
Arrivée le samedi matin à partir de 10h au Château de Christin à Junas.
Possibilité de rester au château dans le parc arboré au bord de la piscine. Déjeuner et après-midi libre pour visiter Sommières (2 kms), la Camargue (10 kms), la ville de Nîmes (15 kms) ou Montpellier (35 kms). Nous nous ferons un plaisir de vous donner des idées de randonnées ou de sites intéressants à visiter proches du château!!!
Rendez-vous au château vers 17 h avec Philippe clerc, Sommelier Conseil (diplômé de l’Université du Vin de Suze la Rousse) pour une initiation à la dégustation des vins (2h). Nous y aborderons la vinification d’un vin blanc, rosé et rouge et la technique de la dégustation d’un vin (l’œil, le nez, la bouche et la fin de bouche). Tout ceci dans la bonne humeur et la convivialité. Apéritif en début se soirée suivi d’un dîner préparé par un chef cuisinier le soir au château en compagnie de votre sommelier qui commentera les accords entre les mets et les vins pendant votre repas. Petit jeu sur les arômes et « quiz » sur le vin pour terminer la soirée dans la bonne humeur.
2ème jour
Petit déjeuner servi à votre convenance dans le château ou sur la terrasse si le temps le permet. Rendez-vous avec Philippe clerc à 10 h qui vous emmènera visiter un domaine viticole proche du château (vous pourrez ainsi voir concrètement la suite de l’initiation à la dégustation de la veille). Visite technique de la cave (chai de vinification, pressoir, cuves à vin, fûts de chêne etc..) suivi d’une dégustation des vins du domaine avec quelques petits fours salés. Retour au château en début d’après-midi pour profiter du parc et de la piscine.
Prix : 295 € par personne pour le week-end. Ce prix comprend la prestation d’un sommelier, le petit-déjeuner du dimanche, un dîner gastronomique le samedi soir et l’hébergement sur la base d’une chambre double. Il ne comprend pas le transport jusqu’au Château, le déjeuner du samedi et du dimanche midi, les suppléments boissons du samedi soir et les dépenses personnelles.
