La maison d’ulysse accueille ses hôtes et les séduit par la sérénité de sa décoration contemporaine, minimaliste, design épuré et le calme absolu de ses espaces…
Guy and Gauthier have succeeded in making the maison d'ulysse a home that reflects their personalities: simple, warm and unpretentious. The concept, enhanced by the architecture and the spatial arrangement, allows guests to gather in a delightful atmosphere... Or to enjoy absolute privacy. The large rooms and suites, the library lounge with an open fire, the patio, the mediterranean garden; you can relax on the terrace and by the swimming pool, or withdraw to a wild park in the shade of mulberry trees or under ancient oaks.

Just a stone's throw from Uzès, the maison d'ulysse is the ideal place from which to discover the treasures of the Gard, a peaceful region full of scenic curiosities. The village of Baron, dominated by the ruins of an 11th-century castle, has various landscapes: gentle hills of green oaks, fig and olive trees, sloping vineyards, panoramic plains and an exceptional view point from which one can see the whole valley as far as the Cevennes to the west and the duchy of Uzès to the east.

THE ROOMS
Room Tour du Gui
This room is located in a small tower and therefore remains cool. Its walls are whitewashed. It is a very intimate bedroom with a king size bed. Shower room. Located at the very centre of the property. Overlooking the garden, the patio and the pool.
Suite Chant du Murier
This room has a private terrace and faces the south garden and the magnificient mulberry tree. It is simple with basic features and fabrics and some colourful notes. You will love it !
Suite Belle du Seigneur
This room is located at the hart of the property, in the oldest part of the house. You will enjoy its ample size (60 sq meters), the high « à la française » ceilings and the open fire in the lounge as well as the bedroom vaulted ceiling. Shower room and separate toilet. Decorated in a simple and modern way with original lighting fixtures. The room remains cool due to its old stone walls. King size bed, shower room, seperate toilet, lounge with sofa-bed. An additional single bed can be provided for a child.
Suite Fleur Dumas
The former owners of the property actually lived in this part of the house. The original charm of the room was preserved. Its original cement tiles have been polished and kept. The vintage bathroom is of 1930 style and lighting fixtures are of Belgian design. You will enjoy its private shaded terrace and you will rest in a large bedroom with a king size bed. Zen and cool !
Room Baron Perché
This room is perched on the very top of the house. It is romantic due to its simple, light and modern design and remains cool at all times. King size bed. Open bathroom with toilet and bath. Overlooking the north garden, the patio and sunset… Top

The breakfasts of Gauthier - greedy and stained with homemade jams that make unanimity - are served with the seasons on the terraces or in the patio and rooms of the house. The meals are prepared with produce from the garden or from local producers.
