THE ROOMS
Château Rieutort is a small Versailles in the Herault. It is an elegant wine domain dating back to 18th century, situated in Languedoc-Roussillon on the banks of the river Hérault, surrounded by a 2, 5 hectare park and 30 hectares of vineyards. Relax in this palace of splendor and forget the world in the beautiful château: enjoy the naturist and textile swimming pools, try exceptional wines and join our table for splendid table d’hôtes dinners and breakfasts. Discover the château B&B rooms, furnished with fantasy and finesse or choose one of our gîtes offering a vast terrace overlooking our vineyard, a jacuzzi on the terrace or a view of the barrels in our winery. GENERAL INFORMATION
Breakfast and wine tours/wine tasting is included in the price.
Tax de sejour - 0, 60 € per person per night is an extra charge.
Linen and towels are provided and WiFi is available for your use.
Smoking in the chateau is not permitted given the obvious fire hazard in a historic building.
Check in time starts from 3 p. M. On your arrival day. Check out deadline is 11 a. M. Of your departure day. If you come before 2 p. M. And your room is not ready yet, you will be welcome to leave your luggage and start enjoying your holiday in one of the pools. You may also stay in our property for the rest of the day after check out but you need to make the room available at 11 a. M. We ask that you advise us of your expected arrival time.
You are obliged to avoid excessive noise at all times and especially between 11 p. M. And 7 a. M.
Please leave the room in the order that you found it. If you notice any existing damage or lack of equipment please inform us. Please also inform us about any damage arising during your stay. We may charge to cover the repair or replacement cost.
We can usually arrange private airport transfers from Montpellier or Beziers Airports although your own car or car hire is recommended.
All repeat customers are entitled to a 5% discount on future accommodation costs. If you recommend a friend either you will receive 5% discount on future accommodation costs or we can provide this as a discount to your friend as you choose. Top

There are many possibilities to visit interesting places as the area is particularly rich in local heritage. We will be pleased to indicate them to you. Château Rieutort will be a splendid accommodation option for you. It is situated 50 km from Montpellier, 35 km from Béziers and the seaside, 25 km from lake Salagou, 25 km from the most pittoresque village of France - Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, 20 km from the caves - Grotte de Clamousse, 20 km from the medieval cistercian Abbey de Valmagne and only 15 km from the historic town of Pezenas And what better way to end a day of sightseeing than to take a relaxing swim in one of our naturist or textile swimming pools with a chilled bottle of white or Rose. Other amenities at the Château include billiards, table football, other games which are at your disposal, massage chair and from May 2015 a spa. If you enjoy fishing you can cross the vineyard to the Hérault River, where you will be able to swim or fish (please bring your own rod). You will find many good restaurants within easy reach of the Château or you can benefit from our table d'hôtes. Rieutort is not a hotel. It is a home open to you and where you will feel welcome. Top

CULTURAL AND SPORTS ACTIVITIES
The many leisure and cultural activities available around Rieutort will keep you busy when you don't wish to just relax in the sun around the pool or on your private terrace.
A horse riding centre is only 10 minutes away, and golf, windsurfing, rock climbing, canyoning and canoeing are also close at hand. Saint Gulhem Le Désert, one of the most beautiful villages of France is 20 mns away.
The Mediterranean Sea only a ½ hour away, and even nearer the Lac du Salagou, and the Etang de Thau with the busy port of Sète.
45 mns driving and you are in the mountains at an altitud of 1200 m. Montpellier and Lodève are also close at hand. Top

MAP & DIRECTIONS
Rieutort is located on the D32 between Montagnac and Gignac, 12km to the north of Pézenas and 50 km to the west of Montpellier.
If you arrive from the north by the highway A75 take the exit 57 or 58 and if you arrive from the south by the highway A9 take either the exit 33 or 34. For the gps just put in Saint Pargoire for the town + Rieutort for the street/place of interest
There are two airports near by: Béziers (35 kms) and Montpellier (50 km), The tgv (high speed train) serves three station nearby : Montpellier, Sète and Agde.
