Jérôme and Catherine Tardy warmly invite you to stay in their recently refurbished guest house, where they offer three huge, private and elegant double bedrooms, all with private en-suite bathrooms and facilities, high quality beds, beautiful duvet covers and soft bathroom linen, colour television, hairdryer, bathrobe and toiletries, tea-coffee making facilitie and free wireless internet access. A full French breakfast is served from 7 a. M (weeks) to 10 a. M. This very quiet and comfortable B & B in town is within 10 minutes walking or driving distance of the city center, Pilat National Park and various landmarks of the area. A superb family home in town ideal to visit St. Etienne, its surroundings, and the Loire (42) department or for business travellers. Very close to Firminy (Le Corbusier), Lyon (69) and Le Puy-en-Velay (43). Free parking within the property, garden, swimming pool. Check in after 4:30 pm and check out before 11:00 am.  Top

Each private room features 13' high ceilings, beautiful hard wood floors, extremely comfortable beds and highest standard furnishings (including many original paintings) and is equipped with its own modern, pristine bath. Hair dryers are provided as well as free internet Wifi access. The Cedar room 366 sq. Ft for the bedroom and 172 sq. Ft for the bathroom with bathtub, shower, double sink and toilet. A Queen size bed (63 x 79). The Tilleul room 377 sq. Ft with shower, sink and toilet. 1 double bed (72''x79'') or 2 twin beds (extra long 35 x 79). The Marronnier room 290 sq. THE TABLE
Diner is possible on request. Meals will be served in the dining room or on the terrace outside when the weather is nice. Price : 25 € (wine and coffee included). Traditional French cooking. Starter, main course and dessert. Products often come from the area : Fourme de Montbrison, local ham, salami and sausages, fruits and vegetables from the market. THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT
The Villa Roassieux is setting in the heart of St. Etienne amidst a lovely garden. It is within 10-15 minutes walking or driving distance of the city center (shopping, restaurants). Upper National schools (Mines, Commerce, Engineers...) are very closed : 4 to 8 minutes walking. The highway (N88 access nr. 21) is at a driving distance of 2 minutes and you can easily reach all parts of St. Etienne and next cities (Firminy with Le Corbusier place (10 km), Lyon (58 km). If you come for some vacation : Pilat National Park is at a distance of 5 km and you can even go for a walk from the Villa. You will be at St. Etienne golf or at the football ground in a few minutes. Several museums (art and industry, modern art, mine), the design biennale in November every 2 years. Many shows : at the Opera-Theater, the Zenith, It only takes 10 minutes to go to the train station. Many buses to go to the center of the city or to other places. Our gated property allows for a private and secure parking area. The Villa Roassieux in St Etienne is very convenient to visit the area : 35 min. From Montbrison and the Forez Plain (Batie d'Urfé castle) ; 45 min. From Lyon and 1 h from Le Puy-en-Velay or Roanne. Coming from Lyon, Clermont or Le Puy. Leave the N88 : exit 21 (St Etienne Centre/Le Rond Point). Drive down the main street «Cours Fauriel» for a while, then down the side-road following the road-signs «Espace Fauriel, Centre des Congrès, Planétarium»). At the lights, turn on the right (just in front of the pharmacy) in the street «rue Pierre Blachon». At the traffic circle, turn at once on the right in the street «rue de la Convention». Dride ahead (leaving the first street on your left «rue Victor Gomy»). The second street on your left is the «passage Jean Baptiste Corot».
