Welcome to our Castle in the heart of the unique landscape of the Mauges, in Pays de Loire, not far from le Puy du Fou, Parc Oriental de Maulévrier and Cholet, Maine-et-Loire subprefecture. It is in this place, built in the 15th century, on the site of a fortified House dating back to the 12th, by Geoffrey Bouer, born in 1415 and great-grandson of Hilaire du Puy du Fou, seventh generation descendant of Renaud I du Puy du Fou born in 1140 and founder of the dynasty, that we welcome you. Here, the traces of history and comfort of our rooms combine to offer you peace and serenity that you will savor during a walk in the Park planted with trees, a romantic break around the fishy moats or a moment of relaxation by the pool... THE ROOMS
From « inspiration to travel » to « Empire » style, our three rooms including a family suite all accessible through a granite spiral staircase welcome you in an unforgetable setting thanks to their beautiful volumes and to their refined decoration. All of our rooms are equipped with tv flat screens, an expresso machine and a kettle. They all benefit from a free WiFi access. And even more appealling : our bathrooms (except for the Chambre de Jeanne) and one of the bedrooms of the family suite are located in the castle’s towers showing an uninterrupted view on the country landscape. To be enjoyed with no moderation during a week-end, a trip just the two of you, a relaxing family moment, a business trip. For all of our guests’ comfort, and in spite of our fondness for them, pets are generally not accepted. Top

The beauty of Puy du Fou...! - Every day until end of September
Grandson of Hilaire du Puy du Fou, Geoffrey Bouer married Guilhemine Turpin de Crissé. One of their three daughters, Anne Bouer, married as her second husband with François I of Puy du Fou, his cousin in the third degree in 1493. It is to their son, Francois ii du Puy du Fou (1495-1548), Lord of the Puy du Fou, Baron of the little castle, Governor of Nantes, that the Renaissance Castle serving currently as a natural setting in the Park of the Puy du Fou is assigned. It is in this place full of history that we welcome you during your visit to the Park of the Puy du Fou.

We are open throughout the year, or almost. All rooms and all of the parts of the castle to which guests have access are non-smoking. Or the comfort of all guests, and despite our affection for them, we avoid the presence of our pet friends. Top

MAP & DIRECTIONS
To go to the Château de La Frogerie :On the A87 motorway, take exit 26. Follow direction « Cholet », then always follow direction « Poitiers / Niort » on road D160 during about 4km. At the 6th roundabout, take road D20 on your left following direction « Poitiers / Niort », « Maulévrier ». After about 7km, take raod C10 on your left following direction « Toutlemonde ». After 500m, take the 1 km long alley planted with trees that will take you to the entrance of the castle.
