Located on the edge of the Paillart, Vésigneux is a former Monastery Beate Marie Visegneul founded by Valeran & Hugues de breteuil in 1148 under Louis vii le Jeune. Erect in Abbey Sancta Maria de Visignelio Order of St Augustine in 1178. Visigneul was ruined during the xivth century. The Barn of Visigneux Abbey, owned by the breteuil Abbey, was sold in september 1563 under François 1st. Under Louis xv, The Celestine from the Bishop of Amiens (Archbishop of Reims) manage the place became Vizigneux Farm around 1726. Visigneux was a simple farm with modern building, a gristmill, 180 logs of arable land, 10 acres of Meadow and 10 bushels of Wheat Milling...

Tapestry-maker's training course with Agathe Béguin, professional Tapestry-maker of Agathe's Workshop to Vendeuil-Caply. Agathe Béguin accompanies you in all the phases of renovation of your armchair or your chair. You can learn gestures and techniques of the tapestry-maker in seat. You arrive with your armchair, your stripesand your ornamental nails... You leave with your totally renewed armchair...
Objective of the training course
Be able to renew yourself your mascot (armchair, chair, pouffe) within 3 days thanks to the wise advice of a professional quality tapestry-maker. You will realize yourself all the stages: dégarnissage of the existing based, puts new belts, implementation of the foam or the hair, the pose of the tissue of your choice, finish of your work of art with ornamental gallon or nails...
Duration of the training course
To beginning them, to count a minimum of three days of very intense training course. The courses are dispensed in the morning and in the afternoon throughout its 3 days. Prévoyer one week in the peace at home before the beginning of the training course! In 7 minutes of the Domain of Vésigneux, in Agathe Béguin's workshop(studio), named Agathe's Workshop to Vendeuil-Caply.
