Tessy and André extend a hearty welcome to you in their chambres d'hôtes in Clessé, Burgundy, France. Tey will receive you under the romanesque church tower of Clessé in their beautiful age-old village manor surrounded by a splendid garden which includes also a swimming pool. Spacious rooms with large beds and each with a bathroom with all modern comfort.
Drive through a magnificent green and slanting landscape with romanesque villages, discover castles, museums and vineyards. Golf 18 holes only 2 km. You can also go for a walk, ride a bike, ride on horseback or play tennis. Just ask us.  Top

THE ROOMS
La chambre Guichard is in the main house. It has a double bed (180x200) It has got a separate toilet and a bathroom with a washbasin and large shower (120x80)
Les Pierres Sèches is adjacent to the main house. On the ground floor there is a nice livingroom with separate toilet and the first floor accomodates a modern bathroom with a bath, washbasin and toilet. It has a double bed (180x200)
La bergerie is down the garden and can be used as a family lodging. On the ground floor you will find a cosy corner with a double bed (180x200). The mezzanine has got two beds (80x200). The bathroom is modern and has got a double washbasin, a walk-in shower and a toilet. Top

THE TABLE
Table d'hôtes are served in the main house. Tessy will cook for you. On the menu we will have local dishes with a european touch to them. The table d'hotes always includes the aperitif of the house, water and wine. Price 2015 39 euro pp. Please book first. Top

Open all year. You can only smoke in the garden. Only small dogs after our personal agreement. Please book in advance for our table d'hotes. You can pay Cash or by credit Card. Top

OUR AREAS OF INTEREST
After travelling through france during many years, Tessy and André preferred to live in france. Clessé , in the middel of French culture, medieval castles, museums, roman art, wine and vineyards seemed the best place to stay. A beautiful house more than 200 years old, close to a romanesque church with a beautiful garden and a pool, what else could you wish. Top

COMFORT & SERVICES
We have three spacious rooms. Two of them can serve as a room for a family. In the garden is a heated swimmingpool. From there you have a nice view in the valley. Top

THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT
Discover vineyards especially these around Clessé. Nearly all of them chardonnay wines with a good reputation. Same level as Saint Verand and Poully Fuissé. Rolling landscape with forests, meadows, castles, romansque churches, medieval laundry places and so on. Top
