Deline and Michel cordially welcome you to the heart of France to Domaine de Nesvres. Comfortable, tasteful accommodations, a convivial table, adventures with wine; nearby, the vineyards of the Bourgogne, the classic antiquities of Autun, Cluny, Beaune, restaurants offering a gastronome's delight, recreations to suit every energy, and always, the pastoral tranquillity of Domaine de Nesvres cherished by time, preserved by tradition, since the fourteenth century.
The Domain went through centuries up to now.
From the 14th century, it has been successively a way station for horse-drawn carriages, the vineyard Domain of Cluny abbey, later it turned into the official residence of the bishop of Chalon.
The Dining-room : breakfast and dinner (if you wish) will be served in the dining room, quite typical with its chimney, its french antique wooden ceiling and floor.
The Sitting-room : If you want to relax, the sitting-room is at your entire disposal. There you can listen to music, watch tv (satellite and dvd), as well as enjoy the billiard-room and the library.  Top

CULTURAL AND SPORTS ACTIVITIES
Burgundy, a region rich in history, art, nature and culture, worth spending time on.
Come and discover The Roman architecture in Burgundy thanks to sites such as Cluny Abbey, Autun, Tournus, admiring on your way the great deal of small typical roman churches.
Do visit the archeological and prehistoric sites such as Solutré and Aze caves.
Admire the magnificient castles in Couches, Cormatin and Sercy on the sight-seeing route of the Great Wines. And travel back into the Middle Ages, visit St Gengoux le National, a medieval village.
Visit the biggest European photography museum dedicated to its inventor, Nicéphore Niepce, born in Chalon-sur-Saône.
For sure, sports fans will find all kinds of activities in Burgundy - walking, byking, horse-riding, roller-blading.
The 45km's cycling route (about 300 meters from the Domain) will lead you from Givry to Cluny, in the middle of nowhere, far away from any kind of traffic, you'll be able to discover the beauty of Burgundy landscape. Bykes are at your disposal in the Domain.
You can also practice a whole range of other activities: tennis (5min from the Domain), two golfs (a first class 18 hole golf course - a 15min drive), climbing, karting, mountaineering bikes.
Pretty close to the Domain, a few lake, give you the opportunity to practice various water sports (windsurfing, water skiing).
Enjoy a day in the amusement and wild life parks of the region (Romanèche-Thorins, The Combes in le Creusot).
Nature lovers as well as thrillees, will no doubt come and see the Acroparc, a new adventure park a few minutes from the Domain.
Burgundy is famous all over the world for its gastronomy that's why you'll find here the most famous French restaurants such as Lameloise (3 stars in the Michelin Guide), Greuze, Le Moulin de Martorey and many others.
