We wish you a very warm welcome
to our mas du grand jonquier (mas is the provencale word for farmhouse), a traditional old farmhouse tastefully restored in provencale style, located in the heart of Provence. This property offers you 4 nice comfortable rooms and 1 suite. All this is set on 2 hectares of grass and orchards with a swimming pool and a playing area.

THE ROOMS
Each of its six comfortable, cheerful bedrooms has been designed with individuality and attention to detail. They are all furnished in true Provencal style, each with its own bathroom.
The lounge as well as the Dining room retain many of the original features such as exposed stone walls, authentic Provencal ceilings and open fireplaces.
In winter time the breakfast and dinner will be served there.
1 room with king sized beds (160x200cm)and 1 suite for 4 persons which are on 1 st floor. 2 other rooms with king sized beds and with either 1 extra bed or 2 as well as another king seized bedded room have direct entrance to the garden. In those rooms we do accept dogs.
Each rooms has a private bath with a shower and wc, televison with international programs telephone and radio, hairdryers and minifridge.
If you wish we place bathrobes in your bathroom.
Power plugs for laptop computers and access to the Internet are available in each room.
The rooms are cleaned every day. And if you wish to bring your dog, please advise us with your reservation.

THE TABLE
Breakfast and dinner will be served outside beneath the shade of a majestic chestnut tree while enjoying the singing of the Provence cigales.
As mentioned before in winter we serve the meals in front of the fireplace inside.
The breakfast is plentiful, including- for example-jogurts, preserves, honey, fruits, cheese and sweet pastries, cornflakes or muesli.
Ina and Thomas Fichtel, a professional cook, use fresh produce from the local market, combining their own individual flair with traditional Provencal cuisine, to produce interesting and tasty meals for our guests. If you wish, Thomas shows every evening from 5 pm. His personal secrets of cooking.

CULTURAL AND SPORTS ACTIVITIES
The most beautiful sites as Gordes ( called one of the most beautiful villages in France just as Lacoste, Menerbes or Bonnieux ) are just 10 minutes car drive away. In Fontaine de Vaucluse, famous for its mysterious deep pool of water overflowing and tumbling down the hillside you will be in 10 minutes as well as in Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, renowned for its antiques trade.
Avignon, Saint-Remy-de-Provence and les Baux-de-Provence are all within 20 to 40 minutes car drive.
You can play golf ( 5 courses ), go horse-riding, play tennis, go canoeing, fishing or you will be surprised by the choice of footpaths and hiking trails. And the Mediterranean beaches are just one hour away.
Or would you just like to rest and read books in the garden or relax near the pool while enjoying a nice glass of provence wine ?
Knowing the region quite well it will be a great pleasure for us to help you organize your daily trips, concert visits, car rending or Golf course reservations.
