Petit village provençal et rural, Monieux est situé sur le flan Est du Mont-Ventoux, à l'entrée des Gorges de la Nesque où commence le pays de la lavande... Notre activité principale est l'élevage ovin traditionnel, dans un cadre privilégié qu'est le pays de Sault, à 20km du Ventoux !Il est tout un savoir transmis de génération en génération, de tradition comme la transhumance, ou nos agneaux, élevés sous la mère puis sevrés et dont l'essentiel de la nourriture est produite à la ferme (foin, luzernes, orges, blé...) ce qui en fait un produit de qualité. Le mouton tient également une large place dans notre culture locale. Venez découvrir le pays de la lavande, de l'épeautre, de l'élevage (forêts, lac, champignons faune, flore, randonnées pédestres et cyclistes, marchés provençaux...)  Top
