THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT
The Farm Perriaux is in the heart of PuisayePuisaye (or Puissaie) is a French natural area located on the border of Orleans, Nivernais and Burgundy. This region is called indifferently or Poyaude Puisaye and its inhabitants are Puisayens or Poyaudins. The traditional image of the Puisaye region is that of a wet and green plateaus where many deciduous forests are home to large ponds. Top

The climate is semi-continental. Winters are often cold and wet. It is not uncommon to see snow take the floor for several days. On trays, snowdrifts can form. Spring is relatively mild and often hot and stormy summers. The summer heat can however be tempered by westerly winds.
