La Salière is an old Savoyard farm, in the village of Sales in Haute-Savoie, ideally located 20 minutes from Annecy and Aix-les-Bains
Our swimming pool is available for your leisure with its cross-currant swiming and its telescopic roofing system that extend nicely the season.
We welcome you in this charming farmhouse and its Bed & breakfast. There are currently 5 vast bedrooms, including a family room, with wc and bathrooms en suite, in the part recently renovated in apparent stones.
The hosts share a common space including a living room and a dining room as well as a fully equipped kitchen with direct access to the garden. You have also at your disposal a wash and drying machine.
La Salière is nearby the historical town of Annecy, where you can enjoy the xivth century old town as well as its Museum. You may also discover, from spring to autumn, the medieval castles of Montrottier and Clermont.
The area will also suit anybody who is looking for outdoor activities such as cycling, fishing, horse riding, sailing, scuba diving. During the winter, some family friendly skiing resorts are just a short drive away. Alpine ski resorts are further away, approximately 1 hour's drive for La Clusaz & le Grand Bornand.  Top

THE ROOMS
Here is a description of our rooms. All of the rooms are vast, more than 20m2, and are located on the first floor for the room Aurore, Azur & Nature. The Horizon suite & the Artiste room are located on the second floor.
You can enjoy free WiFi Internet access. There is a computer linked to Interent at the disposal of our guests.
The Horizon room is a suite with a bedroom separated from its living room by a door. The Artiste room is quite original with its very large picture window looking over the swimming pool and its bed sitting in the mezzanine under the roof (watch your head! ). We are not recommanding this room for couples with young children. Both rooms have a whirlpool bath.
For your comfort, you will find fully equiped en suite bathrooms with complimentary shower and bath products. If you forgot your razor or your brush tooth, do not hesitate to ask us. In the same way, if you need hairdryer, we will place one at your disposal.
For us B&B is a place of peace and rest where one disconnects oneself from the unrestrained day to day rhythm. It is why, that you will not find a clock in the rooms. But as we understand that you could need some, we can lend you one when necessary.
For your wellness and tranquility, all our rooms are no smoking and our pet friends are not allowed in the bedrooms.
The Nature Room : It is made up of a 160 cm wide bed and 1 or 2 90 cm wide beds can be added if needed. En suite separate bathroom and toilets.
The Azur Room : It has a 160 cm wide bed. En suite separate bathroom and toilets.
The Aurore Room : It has a 160 cm wide bed and a 90 cm wide bed. En suite separate shower and toilets
The Artiste Room : It has a 160 cm wide bed in the mezzanine accesible by a stair and a 90 cm wide bed in the living room. En suite separate bathroom with whirlpool bath and toilets. It has also a very large picture window looking over the swimming pool. It's on the second floor. We are not recommanding this room for couple with young children due to the internal stair.
Suite Horizon : It has a 160 cm wide bed in the bedroom and 3 bed (80 cm wide) could be arranged in the living room. En suite separate bathroom with whirlpool bath and toilets. It's on the second floor.
The breakfast is served at our table usually between 8h and 9h30. You will enjoy our home made bread and jam, as well as the fresh viennoiseries and if you prefer salted breakfast, you will be able to discover our local cheeses like Reblochon, Savoie or Bauges Tomme, Abondance or Beaufort. Top

THE TABLE
We would be very happy to welcome you at our family table to share the evening meal with us. Off season the table is proposed at least 3 nights per week, and during the summer season 5 nights per week.
To ensure a great freshness to our dishes, the food is purchased daily. It is for this reason that it is necessary to book the day before at the latest.
The local and organic productions are privileged for the making of our dishes. Which does not prevent us, from time to time, using food from other sources to enjoy different tastes.
You will discover the Savoyard specialties through our dishes, like pie with reblochon, filet of féra from Savoyard lakes and its reduction of cream of sweet chestnuts or our soft chocolate cake and bilberries in season... Or the more typical dishes like the diots or farcement.
Obviously, in the winter season you will be able to taste our typically Savoyard meals containing cheese: the fondue, the raclette and the tartiflette. If you want to be absolutely sure to have some, even more if you come in the summer, mention your wish at the time of your reservation. Top
