Located 4km from Orange and 12km from Châteauneuf-du-Pape, famous for its wine, Annie and Pierre paumel welcome you to this authentic, 17th century Manor raising its old stone walls amidst one hectare of grounds, in the middle of nowhere, where peace and quiet reign.
The five spacious and light-filled rooms (30-35m²) with views over the garden and the surrounding countryside will offer you all the comfort : private bathrooms, lounge, television, mini-bar. The delicious breakfast is served under the garden's arbour or in our dining room.
Pierre Paumel, Master Chef of France, will welcome you at his guest table or/and will teach you his secrets and cooking techniques in his Gourmet Workshop - old-style kitchen - during his cooking classes (on booking).

To visit Provence, you can easily reach many tourist sites from the Bastide des Princes : Avignon : the Popes' Palace and the famous Avignon bridge, Orange : the most beautiful Roman amphitheatre, the villages of the Luberon, the mountains of the Alpilles, Aix-en-Provence, the Pont du Gard, the Camargue: its beaches, its wildness, the black bulls and white horses, the Wine Road and the Lavender roads.

THE TABLE
At the Chef's table, you will sample a festival of Provençal flavours that combine tradition and creativity, all made with fresh products from the markets of Provence and from his garden !
Because with a Master Chef of France in the kitchen, dining here is unlike anywhere else ! You will dine in a romantic setting by candlelight, or under the garden's arbour, by reservation only.
Why not a delicate little Red mullet and Tapenade Tart or a Cream of garden Courgette soup with smoked Salmon capped with a fresh herb mousse.
Then, a Crépinette sausage of farm Pigeon with mushrooms of the moment, the authentic, sublime tasting pork of the Mont-Ventoux, or, of course, Lamb, in all its guises.
For a sweet finish, a Régal de Provence of Nougat and local honey or a Delicious Chocolate fondant cake Origine rare or even Red berry Soup with a Beaumes-de-Venise Muscat.

In Orange, when you are at the circle of the exit (or the entrance) of the highway-motorway A7/A9 – Orange Centre n° 21, take the direction to Caderousse.
Go past the hotels, Cross the bridge over the highway and right now, on your right, follow the signs of “La Bastide des Princes” and “Chapelle de Gabet”. Drive straight during 3 kms.
