The Mas des Papillons, a beautifully restored, secluded farmhouse, is situated on the outskirts of the medieval village of Courthezon, between Avignon and Orange. Within easy reach of the Autoroute du Soleil [A7], it is ideal for a tranquil and calm wonderful holiday to explore the beautiful countryside of Provence, its markets, its wine, its antique sites and its hilltop villages.
An old 16th Century spacious, cool farmhouse comfortably furnished with its large entrance hall, dining room and English style living room.
Outside on the large patio there is a sheltered, shady sitting area for relaxing in front of the lawn and garden with its large swimming pool (15x5m) and hard tennis courts.
It is ideally situated in the Côtes-du-Rhône wine area near Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Vacqueyras and Gigondas. The countryside round about is wonderful for walking, bird-watching, horse-riding, photography and drawing and painting.  Top
