La Bastide Rose is not a hotel but a home for friends, a charming inn in Provence, near Avignon, a confortable bed and breakfast inn where everyone feels free to do as one pleases, either mingle with the other guests or enjoy the quiet retreat.
Nicole Poppy Salinger and her son, Emmanuel de Menthon, are proud to greet their guests as personal friends in their B&B. An ideal retreat for those who love tranquility, Provence, nature, music, theatre and antiques.
Perfectly situated, at the entrance to the Luberon, au Thor, 20 minutes from Avignon and the Avignon-tgv station (fast train from Paris) and close to l’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, this inn, old manor house of, greets its guests amidst the sweet aromas of Provence. There are 5 rooms, 2 suites and a cottage.
Nestled in a small corner of the Sorgue river, surrounded by the fields of the beloved Provence countryside, the house is next to a canal. Behind an old mill turned into a Pierre Salinger Museum is the swimming pool where one can relax in the sun or under the shade of the garden in quietude. Between the canal and the river is an island made for dreaming, planted with fruit trees, and at the end of this little paradise is a dam which is a delight for fly fishermen (river trouts!).
La Bastide Rose is a family home, a bed and breakfast inn with its very personal decoration mixing furniture and family heirlooms and memories with modern comfort.

THE ROOMS
La Bastide Rose, bed and breakfast in Provence, offers 2 suites and 5 bedrooms which are comfortable and welcoming, and are either on the ground floor or the second or third floor of the Manor.
Each is decorated by Poppy Salinger with a personal and different touch, inspired by colors of Provence, and the best amenities: all have a large bathroom, either with a whirlpool bathtub with wall hung shower, or an Italian large walk-in shower, hair dryer, television, telephone and air-conditionning…
The Lavander and Honeymoon Suite are luxiuriously enticing with their brightness, elegance and decor.
The Lavender Suite, on the second floor of our charming inn, in tones of white and lavander, is inundated with sun through it's windows. You will see the sun rise, stay and set here as well as having the enchanting view on the canal and the little Island.
The bathroom has 2 sinks, whirlpool bathtub with wall hang shower, separate toilet, a hair dryer and a second toilet next to the living room. King size bed (1, 80 m x 2, 00 m) or 2 single beds, television, telephone, air-conditioning, and a sofa bed in the sitting room, 45 m² (450 square feet).
The Honeymoon Suite , on the third floor, is a magnificent romantic nest, with Its wood beams, tits canopied king bed, which overlooks the river and the romantic countryside.
The bathroom has 2 sinks, a whirlpool bathtub with wall hung shower, a separate toilet, a hair dryer. A second toilet is next to the living room. King size bed (1, 80 m x 2, 00 m) or 2 single beds, television, telephone, air-conditionning, 45 m² (450 square feet).
The Rasberry Room, on the second floor, is very colourful and the guests will be awaken to see the rising sun.
The bathroom has 2 sinks, a large italian walk-in shower with a separate toilet, as well as hair dryer. King size bed (1, 80 m x 2, 00 m) or 2 single beds, television, telephone, air-conditionning, 30 m² (300 square feet).
Sunflower Room, also on the second floor will let its guests enjoy the setting sun and overlooks the courtyard. King size bed or 2 single beds, television, telephone, air-conditionning, 30 m² (300 square feet).
Poppy's Room is on the third floor. In poppy flower colours of Provence, it has a view on the setting sun, overlooking the courtyard. King size bed, television, telephone, air-conditioning, 30nbsp;m² (300 square feet).
The Thouzon Room has a Zen atmosphere; located on the third floor it is decorated in tones of grey, yellow and ivory which tends to relax and greet the morning sun.
The bathroom overlooks the hill of Thouzon and the abbey ruins, has two sinks, a large walk-in shower and separate toilet as well as a hair dryer. King size bed or 2 single beds, television, telephone, air-conditioning, 30 m² (300 square feet).
The Platane Room is on the ground floor with its own private terrace under the shade of a Laurel tree next part of the large courtyard. This room is accessible for physically disabled guests. Its bathroom has 2 sinks, a large flat floor entrance shower, a specially adapted toilet for disabled people as well as a hair dryer. King size bed or 2 single beds, television, telephone, air-conditioning, 26 m² (260 square feet), without the terrace.

La Bastide Rose offers two possibilities to its guests, from 8:30 a. M. To 11 a. M.: A full buffet in the dining room or on the terrace, depending on weather… and a continental breakfast in the room at no extra charge. Top

THE TABLE
Meals at La Bastide Rose take place with all of the guests present who are happy to be in the Provence region, as well as being greeted in a family atmosphere.
Weather permitting the meals can be enjoyed on the terrace or will be served in the dining room.
Upon request, a private and intimate dinner at a separate table can be prepared.
La table d’hôte can also be an event in the case of a special occasion (Example: Wine tasting or olive oil tasting).
Upon reservation and for small groups the chef can accompany guests to nearby markets to select local produces, which will be used and prepared with him during a cooking course or demonstration in his kitchen.
The reservations of dinners must be requested 24 hours ahead of time. Top

Washing and ironing is offered at an extra charge.
Transport:
La Bastide Rose can guide its guests with car or bus rental and can propose extra services for guided tours and or professional chauffeurs.
Wine tasting:
Wine tasting of the neighbouring wine producers is regularly offered atLa Bastide Rose during the apéritif hour, and is commented upon by a professional oenologist. Visits to the different winegrowers can be organised, if desired.
Relaxation:
