Arenas of Nimes : Amphitheatres of which there remain still ruins (Puzzole, Colisée of Rome, Capoue, Vérone, Pola, Arles, Pompeï, El-Djem, Taragone?). That of Nimes is preserved best.
The house Square : Built in the honor of Gaius and Lucius, adoptive wire of the Augustus emperor. Lays of Gard: built at the beginning of our era with the stones extracted on the same spot in the surrounding Roman careers, it spans Gardon, river capricious, over a 360 meters length. It is made of 3 levels d?arches supporting the covered channel located at 48 meters of the ground. It is the most bridge known aqueduct of the Roman world. Top
